The Duchesne County Sheriff’s Office is asking for the public to be on the lookout for a man connected with a long list of thefts in Duchesne County and who had been arrested on theft charges. “On October 1st, Gattlyn Nicholes was released from the Duchesne County Jail to attend a rehabilitation facility,” shares the Sheriff’s Office. “Before arriving at the rehabilitation facility, Gattlyn absconded and is currently on the run. The Duchesne County Sheriff’s Office received information that Gattlyn is spending time and has been seen in the Hanna/Tabiona area of Duchesne County. Around October 23rd, a motorhome was stolen from the Pinion Ridge area of Duchesne County and later found on fire on Highway 35. Gattlyn is a person of interest at this time for the vehicle theft, and was possibly observed by witnesses at the scene of the fire, and fled before officers arrived. Gattlyn Nicholes has several outstanding warrants for his arrest.” 32-year-old Gattlyn Macaulay Nicholes had been arrested on July 26th and booked into Duchesne County Jail having been found in possession of stolen camp trailers, ATVs and more. Nicholes and other individuals were found working together to steal and cover for each other. The Sheriff’s office is asking for the public’s help in locating Gattlyn.
