The Duchesne County School District issued a press release on Monday stating that they plan for students to come back to classrooms for in-person instruction for the 2020-2021 school year. “Working closely with state and local officials, we are currently in the process of developing a plan to assist all students and faculty in remaining healthy and safe while at school,” shares their announcement. “We understand you may have concerns as the circumstances surrounding COVID-19 continue to evolve, so we are preparing to offer a variety of learning options to students and their families.” The 3 options families have for each student are traditional face-to-face classroom instruction, online home learning, and a combination of the two. During school registration, each student will need to declare their preference for method of instruction. “By providing flexibility in instruction and coursework, it will allow you to choose the best option for your children while considering your individual family needs,” shares the District.
