Duchesne County Man Charged in Multiple Cases of Sexual Assault

A Duchesne County man is facing charges in three different cases, all related to sexually assaulting at least three females, including minors. In one case, 25-year-old Jacob Douglas Stevenson is facing charges of Felony Rape, Sexual Exploitation of a Minor, Unlawful Sexual Activity with a Minor, and Dealing in Materials Harmful to a Minor. In another case, Stevenson is facing charges of Felony Forcible Sodomy, Sexual Exploitation of a Minor, and Dealing in Materials Harmful to a Minor. In the final case, Stevenson is facing a charge of Felony Forcible Sodomy. According to the Narrative Statement of Probable Cause at the Time of Arrest, the Duchesne County Sheriff’s Office began an investigation on February 27th of sexual and exploitation of juvenile between the ages of 15 to 18. During the investigation, four female juveniles were interviewed and disclosed that Stevenson asked them for pornographic images from them through Snap Chat. One of the 17-year-old females eventually met Stevenson in person and she says he forced her to perform sexual acts. A second 17-year-old female also met Stevenson in person after interacting on Snap Chat. One of the times they met up in person the girl says Stevenson forced intercourse as she was telling him to stop. During another interview, a 16-year-old female told investigators that she was walking into a church in Duchesne County when Stevenson called her name as he was sitting in his vehicle in the parking lot. She walked over to the vehicle and he told her to get in. When she did he locked the doors and forced her to perform sexual acts on him. Stevenson is scheduled for an initial court appearance on April 6th.
