Duchesne County Libraries and USU Extension Join Forces Spreading Christmas Cheer

What better way to say thank you and Merry Christmas than with some holiday treats? The folks of the Duchesne County Library System and USU Extension Office are busy today preparing breakfast goodie bags to share with patrons during the holiday season. The Take and Make holiday bags are always a hit. “Last year we handed out bags to patrons that had muffin mixes, trail mix, and hot chocolate packets,” shares Duchesne County Library Director Daniel Mauchley. “This year we are handing out 175 bags that will be distributed at both Duchesne and Roosevelt Branches. These bags will have a biscuit mix, apple oatmeal, and a homemade hot chocolate mix. We hope this will be a nice thank you to patrons and that we can help out with a breakfast this holiday.” The Duchesne County libraries will start handing out the holiday breakfast goodie bags after Thanksgiving.
