Duchesne County Free Dump Week is coming up April 26th through May 3rd. The event is for all yard waste and general cleanups. All loads must be secured and tarped. Unsecured loads will be charged at the regular rate. Any special or large cleanups must be pre-approved by the landfill. This includes buildings, cement, and tires. D/W Bluebench Landfill is open 8am to 4:30pm and closed Sundays. K & K Sanitation is also participating and has shared that everyone using the transfer station is required to stop at the office and check in prior to pulling on the scales and dumping trash. Even thought it is free during Free Dump Week, each load must weigh in and out for their records. Tires, refrigerators, freezers, and air conditioners are not included in the free dump. During free Dump Week, K & K Sanitation will be open from 8am to 4pm. It is also noted that Roosevelt City residents are who may use K&K Sanitation for free but need to bring a city utility bill and photo ID.
