The Duchesne County Commission has approved an agreement with Ashley National Forest for officers to patrol Forest areas. The Sheriff’s Office Manager Cynthia Wardle presented the Cooperative Law Enforcement Annual Operating Plan and Financial Plan to the Commission at a recent meeting. The agreement is between Duchesne County, the USDA, Forest Service, and Ashley National Forest. The Commission unanimously approved the agreement, including the total amount of $11,950.80 that covers expenditures plus the previous year’s carryover.
