With new leadership and a new location, the Duchesne County Chamber of Commerce is especially primed to serve the local community by building up and supporting local businesses. “We are now in our own building for the first time in many, many years,” shares newly appointed Executive Director Dorothy Carter. “This is a much bigger space and I think people will be pleased once it is all put together.” Carter previously served as the Office Manager for the Chamber at their previous location in the Crossroads building where they operated out of a small office space. The Chamber’s new location is a major upgrade with plenty of room to hold meetings and welcome the community. The Chamber started the process of moving to their new building at 310 South 200 East in Roosevelt last month and Carter says that even while moving she is focused on staying active in serving local businesses. They have started a new Facebook page and are working on a new website which can serve as a landing site for Chamber businesses, providing a great benefit.
