Duchesne County Bumps Up On COVID-19 Transmission Index

As of Thursday, January 6th, TriCounty Health Department reported 9,422 total COVID-19 cases in the tri-county area to date. As of that report, there had been zero new COVID-19 related deaths in the previous 7 days and 13 new COVID-19 related hospitalizations. According to Thursday’s data, there were 354 active cases. The COVID-19 Transmission Index reports that Duchesne County has moved from Moderate to the High Transmission Index Level. Uintah County is in the Moderate Level and Daggett County is at the Low Level. Uintah County’s 7-day average percent positivity was 9 percent with 98 cases, Duchesne County was 10 percent with 67 cases, and Daggett County was 45 percent with 8 cases.
