this Saturday and take part in the Winter Art Festival in Duchesne. The Duchesne Arts Council is sponsoring the unique winter time event
on Friday, December 7th, from 3 to 6pm
with a special art escape for adults
from 6:30pm to 8:30pm
. Although the event is free, some of the specialized painting opportunities have a cost.
From 3 to 6pm
there will be free kids crafts sponsored by Duchesne High School FCCLA.
From 3 to 5pm
there will a special painting opportunity called ‘Yeti’ for children 8 and older which costs $15. Then
from 5 to 6pm
is a free concert put on by local musicians. Following the concert
at 6:30pm
is a chance for adults to have an art get away and paint ‘Silent Night’ for $25. There will be refreshments and a healthy helping of holiday cheer, all to be found at the Duchesne County Centennial Event Center. You may purchase tickets for the painting events in advance at the Duchesne Art Council website.
