It is time to gather your ohana (family), grab your best Hawaiian shirt, and get ready for a Luau as the Duchesne Arts Council will he holding a Polynesian Culture Night. The evening will have a delicious Luau feast and a showcase of island dancers. Meals will have that authentic island flavor as it will be prepared by Merrilli Mckee, a Hawaiian native. The Luau party will be on Monday, October 28th, starting with the dinner at 5:30pm at the Duchesne High School Commons. At 7pm, families will gather in the auditorium to watch the Mahana Polynesian dancers, a mixture of beautiful Hula and Tahitian dances, Polynesian drummers and Samoan fire knife dance. Prices for the meal will vary depending on what you order while the Polynesian performance will be $5 per person and $15 for family. Those 12 and under are free.
