Driver Cited After Crash On SR45 In Uintah County

A crash on Thursday morning south of Naples in Uintah County involved 4 vehicles but only 2 drivers. According to Utah Highway Patrol, a Ford F350 pulling a car hauler trailer was traveling westbound on 5000 South approaching the SR45 intersection while a GMC Sierra was traveling southbound on SR45 near milepost 37. The Ford did not yield to the stop sign at the intersection and turned onto SR45, striking the front of the GMC. One of the vehicles on the car hauler was ejected from the trailer and landed on its top. The trailer and rear vehicle went through a fence and contacted a power pole, knocking it over. The GMC traveled through a fence and rolled. Both drivers were transported to the hospital with non-life threatening injuries. A passenger in the GMC was not transported. The driver of the Ford was cited.
