A British man’s shyness and depression, fueled by a fib, leads a lodge of quirky characters to think that he doesn’t speak English thus making him the perfect recipient of their individual secrets. ‘The Foreigner’ now playing at Vernal Theatre: LIVE is ripe with comedy and heart that all ages will enjoy. Director McKenzie Johnstun says the play is even great fun for children. She happens to know from experience as there was more than one night her 4-year-old twins attended rehearsals and they loved to sit and watch the action on stage.
