Dinosaur National Monument Roads Update

by | Dec 13, 2022 | News | 0 comments

Dinosaur National Monument provided an update on Monday to the road closures throughout the park. Harpers Corner Road is partially open, up to Moffat County Road 16 North, for the remainder of the season. South of that closure requires 4×4 and high clearance with chains being highly recommended. There is a chance that Split Mountain Campground Road which has been closed at the intersection with Cub Creek Road could be open today. Visit the Dinosaur National Monument Facebook page to keep updated on conditions changing. The Island Park Road is a total mess and high clearance is strongly recommended. Please note that Cub Creek Road is plowed however it has packed snow and is slick. The Quarry Visitor Center and the Quarry Exhibit Hall are open from 10:00am to 4:00pm 7 days a week, excluding Christmas Day and New Year’s Day.
