Not wanting to take anyone by surprise, Dinosaur National Monument is getting the word out that they are continuing to require masks. According to their announcement, masks that cover your nose and mouth are currently required for everyone 3 years and older when inside federal buildings or while outside on federal lands where 6 feet distance cannot be maintained between unrelated groups. If you are planning a visit to the Quarry Exhibit Hall or Quarry Visitor Center be sure you bring a mask for everyone in your household to wear when inside. Those who choose not to wear a mask can still enjoy outdoor hiking and picnic areas but not the indoor venues at this time. “This mask requirement is a result of an Executive Order and the Code of Federal Regulation,” shares Dinosaur National Monument. “While state and local regulations or recommendations may be less restrictive, as a federal agency, we all (staff and visitors) must comply with the Executive Order.”
