Dinosaur National Monument has made some changes to their schedule and availability and it’s none too soon with snow already here. “Fall is here and so are some changes to our operations!” shared the Monument’s announcement. “The Green River Campground is closed for the season and the Split Mountain Campground is open to all campers on a first-come, first-serve basis. Water is not available at Split Mountain Campground and fees are $6 per site, per night. Water service is also turned off at Gates of Lodore, Echo Park, and Deerlodge Park campgrounds. Campers may still use the campgrounds but must bring their own water. Water is available at the Quarry Visitor Center from 9am-5pm daily.”
