Dinosaur National Monument Continues to Teach into Winter Months

by | Feb 2, 2021 | News | 0 comments

The snow might slow things down at Dinosaur National Monument but that has not stopped the staff from educating the public on many different topics. Often they utilize social media to intrigue locals, especially those who love astronomy. A few weeks ago Mercury was travelling Northeast and now it seems to have turned around and in a few weeks it will turn around again. They explained that this phenomenon is called “apparent retrograde motion”. Get all the info from the Dinosaur National Monument Facebook page and share what you learned with your kids and friends. Thank you to the staff of Dinosaur National Monument for helping to educate and excite the public about what can be found in the Uintah Basin area and beyond.
