Further signs of prehistoric life will be popping up in downtown Vernal starting next week. Dinosaur themed blade signs for downtown businesses are now available and businesses can add their name to the list to have their very own made. The project is among several in process by the Downtown Revitalization Committee that is aimed at beautifying and unifying the downtown area. Modifications to the Vernal City sign ordinance allow and encourage the use of the blade signs and the City is even waiving the permit fee for signs within the downtown commercial district. The blade signs are pedestrian scale that will be installed perpendicular to the face of each building in order to be easily read by pedestrians. Any businesses interested in having their own sign can contact the Vernal Chamber of Commerce.
