The excitement for Dinah SOAR Days has been building for two years. Last year hit a bit of a bump as the weather made it so that none of the balloons were launched. Though the weather affected one launch day this year, the other two launches were a resounding success. Glow having somewhere close to 3,000 people. It wasn’t just members of the Basin that attended, not even just Utah. There were people from Montana, Idaho, Colorado, New Mexico, Arizona, Nevada, and beyond. Lesha Coltharp, director of Uintah County-Travel and Tourism wants the public to know that the success of the event would not be possible without the support of the sponsors and the time of the many volunteers.
