It’s never too soon to get excited for the Dinosaur Roundup Rodeo and this year will have more reminders around town than usual that the rootin’ tootin’ fun is almost here. Last year was the first year the rodeo committee sponsored a Dinah Dino decorating contest between local businesses. A wooden Dinah silhouette was provided free of charge and once decorated, was displayed in the front of participating businesses through June and into the rodeo. The mini Dinahs were then judged with the champion being amply rewarded for doing their part to promote excitement for the approaching Dinosaur Roundup Rodeo. “We are rolling out the second annual Dinah decoration contest for the rodeo,” shares Vernal Chamber Director Joel Brown. “All businesses can participate in this fun event.” The wooden silhouettes can be picked up at the Chamber office starting June 6th. The prize winners will include free tickets to the rodeo.
