TriCounty Health Department is focused on the wellbeing of the community as a whole and is providing a unique new option for giving this holiday season. The TriCounty WIC program has coordinated with local businesses to help provide diapers for local infants and young children this holiday season. WIC is a program that provides supplemental foods to pregnant women, new mothers, infants, and children up to their 5th birthday and the drive is a way to add one more element of help for these kids and their families by lightening the burden of buying expensive diapers through the holidays.
From November 13th through November 27th
, locations in Vernal and Roosevelt will have boxes for diaper donations. Open packages of diapers are being accepted. The Vernal drop off locations include TriCounty Health Department, WalMart, Davis Food and Drug, Zions Bank, Wells Fargo, Mountain America Credit Union, and Smiths. The Roosevelt locations are TriCounty Health Department, Davis Food and Drug, Stewart’s Marketplace, and Mountain America Credit Union.
