Local artist Deena Millecam is the featured artist through the month of November at the Uintah County Library. Deena grew up on a fruit farm in Payson and it was there that her work ethic was formed. After she graduated from Utah State with a Bachelor of Education in Fine Arts she moved to the Uintah Basin and taught at Vernal Junior High. She received her Masters of Education through the University of Utah and after which she served as an administrator working several positions within the Uintah School District. Upon retiring, she took her art further by studying with many wonderful artists. She has a great love for watercolor, which is featured in many of her works. She is currently enjoying the experience of exploring painting in oils. In addition to her art,
