Dinah and her minions are taking over the streets of Naples and Vernal. Last year was the first year the rodeo committee sponsored a Dinah decorating contest between local businesses. A wooden Dinah silhouette was provided free of charge and once decorated, was displayed in the front of participating businesses through June and into the rodeo. The mini Dinahs were then judged with the champion amply rewarded with bragging rights and tickets to the Dinosaur Roundup Rodeo. Last year was a huge success so it was no surprise that the competition heated up quickly this year with Dinah getups ranging wildly. There is a pizza toting Italian Mama Dinah at Antica Forma, a geared up welding Dinah at DC Welding, a steer roping Dinah at Ironworx, a bearded redneck Dinah at Maverick, a Naples PD Dinah complete with K-9 pups at Naples City, a trendy miniature golfing Dinah at the rec center, and old west bank robbing Dinah at Zion’s Bank, among many others!
