The deadline to submit public comments on fishing regulations on the Wyoming side of Flaming Gorge is happening next week. The proposed regulations from the Wyoming Game and Fish Department are available for review online and are open for input. “The proposed changes aim to reduce the abundance of small lake trout in the reservoir and decrease predation on trout and fingerling kokanee,” shares the announcement. “Some of the proposed changes include classifying lake trout in Flaming Gorge as nongame fish while still only allowing possession of one lake trout over 28 inches in length and reducing the creel limit for kokanee from four to three in the aggregate limit of four trout.” The deadline to submit public comment is June 10th at 5pm.
