David Archuleta
wowed a sold out crowd
on Thursday night
at the Vernal Middle School at his second to last show on his ‘Winter In The Air’ Christmas tour which
finishes tomorrow night
in Richfield. His tour hit cities in California, Colorado, Arizona, Florida, Tennessee, Georgia, New York, and Connecticut, before finishing up with these final two Utah shows. The spotlight first landed on Archuleta when he was just 16-years-old in 2008 when he became America’s sweetheart on Season 7 of American Idol. 30 million tv viewers and their 44 million votes kept him in the show’s lineup to the very end where he finished as the season runner-up. He released 6 albums before stepping away from his singing career in 2012 to serve a mission for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints in Chile. The energy of Thursday’s concert was electric as Archuleta sang a variety of traditional, original, and spiritual Christmas songs. This was part of a concert series from Evans Family Media, teamed up with Disciple Live Events. Next up on their concert series is
Collin Raye
scheduled to perform in Vernal
on January 24th.
