The Primary Election is coming up this month and like other northeastern Utah counties,
a Commission seat is the focus in Daggett County. The Daggett County Commission Seat
C race includes Hank Gutz, incumbent Commissioner Randall B. Asay, and write-in
candidate Jacob Koger. Daggett County’s June newsletter included the following message
from the Daggett County Commission: “The June Primary Election plays a crucial role in
shaping our future as a county. It’s the best way to exercise our civic duty and participate
in the process of shaping our county by influencing policies, laws, and the decision
making process. Every vote counts and will make a difference in determining the
direction of our local government. Participating in the June Primary Election empowers
our citizens to have a say in the leadership and direction of the future of Daggett County.”
Important voting dates to note in Daggett County are June 19th for early voting at the
Daggett County Courthouse from 9 to 5, June 20th for early voting in Dutch John from 3
to 7, June 21st for early voting in at the Daggett County Courthouse from 9 to 5, and then
the Primary Election on June 25th at the Daggett County Courthouse from 7am to 8pm.
