Daggett County Commission Update: Welfare Checks and Grant Funding

Every month the Daggett County Commission shares the latest with the county, keeping citizens and those interested in Daggett County up to date. This month, the commissioners invite the community to offer names of solitary residents in Daggett County that could benefit from welfare checks. “Our close community wants to care for each other,” shares the commissioners. “Please help us know about all those deserving this special attention.” The commissioners also offered an update on a recent BEAR grant and the ways in which it may be used. The grant has two parts. One involves state officials deciding how local businesses can be assisted to ensure greater success. The second part is designated for local use and amounts to $20,000 dollars that is proposed to be used to invest in 2 trailers for public gatherings as sanitation facilities.
