The Daggett County Commission proudly announced that progress is being made on projects thanks to grants received. “Our shooting range received the full $200,000 dollars that was asked for through the Utah Outdoor Recreation Grant. We’ll see action on this project this fall or winter,” shares the Commissioners in the Daggett Post. “The Forest Service was awarded $96,000 dollars to complete the bottom of the Little Hole Trail, also from the Utah Outdoor Recreation Grant, [and] Search and Rescue received $25,000 dollars from the State OHVR Grant for new equipment which was desperately needed.” The Commissioners also announced that a contract was awarded to Civco Engineering to begin the bike path construction along Highway 43 and finally that the basketball/ pickleball court at the park should be completed by the middle of summer through the Community Economic Opportunity Advisory Board. It’s onward and upward as usual in Daggett County!
