More input is being sought on an exciting project that has the potential to enrich the lives of the entire community. In case you haven’t heard, a group of locals, all passionate about the arts, are exploring the possibility of bringing a performing arts center to Uintah County. Vernal Arts Center’s mission is “to build and provide a world-class, dynamic, and sustainable community performing/ visual arts center to unify, view, create, display, and enjoy the arts.” Robin McClellan, a member of the Vernal Arts Center Board of Directors, hopes the entire community will take the time to take the survey. “This will give us the best data to see what our needs are and what the community wants,” shares McClellan. “My ideas might be great but I don’t know if that will meet everyone’s needs so we need a large sampling of all ages and with varied interests. We want this to be a place that meets the needs of all arts and gives a home to those that need it.” Link through the Vernal Arts Center Facebook page.
