Crowds turned out for the fun and especially the prizes at the Holly Days celebration in Vernal on Friday. “We celebrated the 20th Anniversary of Holly Days with a truly magical kick off to the holiday season and winter with the first snowstorm to stick,” shares Uintah County Travel and Tourism Director Lesha Coltharp. “Thousands of people participated in the Home for the Holly Days activities for prizes…the largest number turned in since the creation of the activities to win prizes in 2020. Thousands of people flocked to Western Park for warmth and games. The numbers seemed to be just as large as in years past. The parade, fire dancers and fireworks seemed to have smaller crowds due to weather, but it was all smiles for those that attended.” In all, Coltharp says the event was a huge success and organizers are already excited for next year!
