It was a full house at the Mr. and Miss Uintah competition at Uintah High School on Wednesday evening. There were 65 total students competing, made up of 20 young women and 45 young men. Camryn Shepherd was crowned the 2023 Miss Uintah followed by 2nd place Rylee Crain, and 3rd place Riata Bell. Andy Lassiter was crowned the 2023 Mr. Uintah followed by 2nd place Tanner Gay, and 3rd place Josh Cheshire. “We had the largest crowd ever!” shares Coach Gregg Stensgard. “It was a great night for Mr. and Miss Uintah.” This was the 19th year for the Miss Uintah competition and the 32nd year for the Mr. Uintah competition. Well done to all the athletes and congratulations to the winners!
