Are you interested in finding out more on how to help your students and children thrive in a world filled with social media and fast-paced learning? Dr. Christy Kane will be coming to Roosevelt Junior High School on January 23rd to speak on the effects of stress on the minds of students. Her presentation will be in the auditorium and will start at 6:00 p.m. She will be discussing topics such as social media’s influence on self-esteem, how to increase positive mental health, and why teenagers think differently than children and adults. Duchesne County School District invites all parents and students in the surrounding areas to attend.
