US-191 in Daggett County was closed for several hours on Wednesday following a crash. According to Utah Highway Patrol, a garbage truck traveling south at Mile Marker 390 went off the road to the left and tipped onto its side, spilling trash onto the road. The road was closed to clean up some oil and to upright the vehicle and responders directed traffic around the crash with only one lane staying closed. The cause of the crash remains under investigation. Thankfully, no injuries have been reported. The Daggett County Sheriff’s Office announced at 1:50pm that US-191 was again open in both directions.
