A Craig man suffered fatal injuries after the vehicle he was driving left the roadway on Saturday evening. Craig Daily Press reports that according to Colorado State Patrol, 31-year-old Taylor Branstetter was traveling west on Highway 40 at mile marker 105 in a Chevy Suburban when he drifted off the right side of the road. He then collided with multiple trees. He was not wearing a seatbelt at the time of the crash and Colorado State Patrol reported to Craig Daily Press that drugs and alcohol are NOT suspected as factors in the crash. Excessive speed is also NOT suspected to be a factor. Mile marker 105 on Highway 40 is located west of Hayden in Routt County.
