As of Thursday, November 18th, TriCounty Health Department reported 8,749 total COVID-19 cases in the tri-county area to date, an increase of 14 new cases from the day before. There have been 6 new COVID-19 related deaths in the last 7 days and 12 new COVID-19 related hospitalizations. According to Thursday’s data, there are currently 489 active cases. The COVID-19 Transmission Index reports Duchesne County and Uintah County at the High Transmission Index Level and Daggett County at the Low Level. Uintah County’s 7-day average percent positivity was 16 percent and there were 230 cases in the past 14 days, Duchesne County was 11 percent with 88 cases, and Daggett County was 17 percent with 1 case. The statewide ICU utilization is at 93 percent and the 7-day COVID-19 utilization is 42 percent.
