COVID-19 Transmission Index and Update (11/11-11/17)

As of Thursday, November 11th, TriCounty Health Department reported 8,648 total COVID-19 cases in the tri-county area to date, an increase of 21 new cases from the day before. There have been 7 new COVID-19 related deaths in the last 7 days and 14 new COVID-19 related hospitalizations. According to Thursday’s data, there are currently 562 active cases. The COVID-19 Transmission Index reports Duchesne County and Uintah County at the High Transmission Index Level and Daggett County at the Low Level. Uintah County’s 7-day average percent positivity was 16 percent and there were 268 cases in the past 14 days, Duchesne County was 13 percent with 120 cases, and Daggett County was 13 percent with 1 case. The statewide ICU utilization is at 90 percent and the 7-day COVID-19 utilization is 41 percent.
