The local COVID-19 Transmission Index levels are Uintah and Duchesne County at the Moderate Level and Daggett County at the Low Level. According to Thursday’s press release, Uintah County’s 7-day average percent positivity was 5 percent and there were 51 cases in the past 14 days. Duchesne County’s 7-day average percent positivity was 6 percent and there were 32 cases in the past 14 days. Daggett County’s 7-day average percent positivity was 0 percent and there were no cases in the past 14 days. Over the past 7 days from the time of the press release, the tri-county area as a whole had 4 new COVID-19 related hospitalizations and no new COVID-19 related deaths. Statewide total ICU utilization was 66 percent and the 7-day COVID-19 utilization was 9 percent.
