COVID-19 Transmission Index (4/1-4/7)

TriCounty Health Department announced that the Transmission Index levels of local counties remained the same from the week before with Uintah and Duchesne County staying at the Moderate Level and Daggett County staying at the Low Level. According to Thursday’s press release, Uintah County’s 7-day average percent positivity was 5 percent and there were 57 cases in the past 14 days. Duchesne County’s 7-day average percent positivity was 5 percent and there were 30 cases in the past 14 days. Daggett County’s 7-day average percent positivity was 0 percent and there was 1 case in the past 14 days. Over the past 7 days from the time of the press release, the tri-county area as a whole had 3 new COVID-19 related hospitalizations and 1 new COVID-19 related death. Statewide total ICU utilization was 65 percent and the 7-day COVID-19 utilization was 11 percent.
