Two individuals from the Wasatch Front were pulled over and arrested in Duchesne County this week while traveling through the area and their trip through the Uintah Basin serves as a warning to residents. 44-year-old Charles Boyd Montoya and 26-year-old Kloey Marie Willis, both Salt Lake County residents, were booked into the Duchesne County Jail on Tuesday. The probable cause statements outline that they had been headed for Wyoming with meth and weapons in their possession and along the way stole mail from Duchesne County residents, including some mail with identifying information from the State of Utah. Montoya was booked on multiple felony and misdemeanor drug charges, five counts of felony mail theft, and two counts of felony possession of a dangerous weapon by a restricted person. Willis was charged with felony and misdemeanor drug charges, six counts of felony mail theft, and felony possession of a dangerous weapon by a restricted person. Montoya and Willis were both ordered to be held without bail.
