The Utah Department of Workforce Services released the latest unemployment numbers by Utah counties. Daggett County shifted up slightly
from 4.7 to 4.8
percent. Duchesne County had a small decrease from 4.2 to 4.1 percent unemployment. Likewise, Uintah County dropped slightly from 4.4 to 4.3 percent unemployment. The state of Utah also fell a tenth of a percent from 3.1 to 3 percent and national unemployment ticked down from 4 to 3.8 percent. Eight out of ten private sector industry groups in Utah posted net job increases for February 2019. The March employment report will be released
on April 19th.
