The Utah Department of Workforce Services has announced updated unemployment numbers by county. Daggett County dropped from 3.2 to 3 percent unemployment from September to October and is down from 4.4 percent one year ago. Duchesne County dropped from 3.2 to 2.9 percent unemployment from the month before and is down from 8.5 percent one year ago. Uintah County went from 3.9 to 3.5 percent unemployment from the month before and is down from 9.8 percent one year ago. National unemployment is at 4.6 percent and the state of Utah is at 2.2 percent.
