Corey Wade Murray, age 55, died peacefully on Thursday, June 6, 2019, in Vernal, UT.
He was born in Grand Junction, CO on June 10, 1963, to Larry Lee Murray and
Charlotte Mangrum.
Corey began his career in the drywall business working for his father and eventually ventured
out on his own working in Heber, Moab and Vernal.
His passion for hunting began at an early age with Grandpa Murray on Blue Mountain and Dad in
the Bookcliffs. He hunted in many of the Western states and into Canada bringing home many trophies.
Corey is survived by his son Corey (CB) Murray (Krista), daughters Jade Nelson (Josh) and Heather Murray, step children Lonnie Murdock and Natalie Robison, grandchildren Harley, Jenson, Christian, Daniel, Camari, Maesey, Shaylee, Brianna, Marden, Tristen, parents, Larry and Stella (Tina) Murray, siblings Mike Williams, Margo Oaks (Troy), Larry Murray (Lara).
Preceded in death by his mother, sister Bridgette, grandparent’s Ab and Della Murray and Joe and Jerry Mangrum.
Funeral services for Corey Wade Murray will be held Wednesday, June 12, 2019 at the Blackburn and Sons Vernal Mortuary at 11 with a viewing one hour prior to service. Burial will be at the Jensen Cemetery. Services entrusted by Blackburn and Sons Vernal Mortuary and Cremation Care.
