Work will officially move forward on the Vernal downtown revitalization projects. Vernal City advertised for the Cobblerock and Zions Block projects with bids opening in early March. Vernal City received just one bid and that was from BHI.
Vernal City Council approved BHI as the contractor during the April 5th City Council meeting. The City staff will work closely with the BHI staff as they review the original concepts and plans and redesign where necessary to ensure that the bid amount fits within the project budget.
While projects are typically pre-bid, this project will be post-bid to value engineer the project. Current plans are that the Cobblerock and Zions Block projects will be constructed this summer.
