The Maverick driver critically injured in the explosion at an oil rig site east of Myton on August 14th continues to fight for his life in the hospital and the community has rallied around the family to help. After the accident on Wednesday, Josh Phillips with Duchesne County Fire & Emergency Management shared that fire crews arrived on scene and found a Workover rig, a holding tank and oil tank battery with active fire and that the worker that was burned was transported to the hospital in critical condition. A GoFundMe has been created to benefit Ben Roundy and his family as he lies in a hospital bed with 3rd degree burns covering 80 percent of his body. Roundy and his wife have 2 young boys. The GoFundMe page is under the name “Help Ben Recover from Devastating Burns” and the link can be found with this story on www.BasinNow.com
