Increases to fees at Buckskin Hills were approved by the Uintah County Commission on Tuesday. The Uintah County Attorney’s Office presented the new fee schedule. The Ski and Tubing Hill individual passes are now $10, family pass is $30, season pass is $50 and family season pass is $200. Camping is $25 per night. Facility rentals for large groups (not including non-profit, government, or school groups) are as follows: Mountain Biking is $750 Thursday through Saturday and $500 for other days; Motocross is $2000 Thursday through Saturday and $1500 for other days; the Sand Drag, dirt oval track, is $1500 Thursday through Saturday and $1000 for other days; the DM Dragway is $1500 Thursday through Saturday and $1000 for other days; and the Shooting Range is $750 Thursday through Saturday and $500 for other days. Commissioner Horrocks said he feels this is still very reasonable and fair pricing. Commissioner Laursen pointed out that these are group rates and the Shooting Range is still free for individuals. They only ask that visitors clean up after themselves.
