Five students from Colorado Northwestern Community College in Rangely were among those in the state of Colorado celebrated in a special virtual student awards ceremony through the Colorado Community College System. What made this ceremony special is that each student received a “ceremony in a box” delivered to their home which included a medallion, certificate, and backpack full of goodies. “Nothing should eclipse the feelings of well-earned pride from our student awardees,” shares Joe Garcia, CCCS chancellor. “I am proud of the efforts that went into creating this meaningful and important virtual celebration.” This year, the Colorado Community College System awarded 84 students from 13 state colleges. The five students honored from Colorado Northwestern Community College are Adam Cooley, Robert Pappert, Rebekkah Watson, Samantha Lares, and Jose Salazar Rentieria.
