First and foremost, communicate openly. Encourage honest discussions about online experiences and potential dangers. Second, educate youth about the risks. Teach the importance of privacy and the dangers of sharing personal information. Third, continue to monitor activity online. Use parental controls and regularly check their online interactions. Fourth, warn youth about the risks of interacting with strangers and accepting unknown friend requests. Finally, teach them to report their concerns.
