Travelers take note: a section of 1500 East in Ballard will be closed starting Monday, June 24th. Construction kicked off early this month and includes the full depth reclamation, replacement, and widening of 1500 East as part of the Ballard Phase II project. Travelers should plan for alternate routes. TNT General Contractors explains that the closure starting on June 24th will close 1500 East to all thru-traffic from Highway 40 to 300 South. Local access to homes will be maintained but all are asked to please plan alternate routes accordingly. A detour map has been shared by TNT General Contractors on their Facebook page.
