The City of Craig, Colorado continues to adjust to economic changes, striving to diversify and anticipate needs in order to grow. The City of Craig shared a vision for their growth this week and emphasized the need for housing to meet current demands as well as any potential newcomers. As a result, the Craig Housing Authority is engaged in two major housing projects. The first project is a 20-unit townhome development that was completed in 2024. The second project is a 96-unit multi-family apartment development which has been planned and construction is anticipated to get underway this year. “While these two large projects are important milestones, the Craig Housing Authority is also looking toward the future and recognizing the need to support smaller housing projects,” shares the City’s announcement. “As Craig continues to grow, the need for new housing development will only increase. The Craig Housing Authority’s efforts to spearhead these major projects and support smaller-scale housing initiatives are just the beginning.”
