Ashley National Forest has announced a gate location change that will make life easier for snowmobilers and others accessing the snow line. “Through public feedback from those enjoying over-the-snow activities on the Red Cloud and White Cloud Loop Roads at the junction of Red Cloud Loop and Highway 191, the gate has been moved closer to the tree line and a new parking lot has been created to allow for easier access to the snow line,” shares Ashley National Forest. “In the past the open ridgeline has blown free of snow making snowmobile users leave the road or ride on bare pavement to reach the snow.” Now Forest users will have easier access to great snow right from the parking lot.
