“All aboard! All aboard!” The magic of Christmas and the magic of a good book were in full force on Thursday evening at the Central Cove Preschool Polar Express night. The students and their families arrived in PJs and embarked on a special journey that included hot chocolate, cookies, storytime, and a family picture that all led to a visit with Santa Clause himself. Each child received their own special bell from Santa and each family was sent home with their own new copy of the Polar Express book. A donation of $2000 dollars from the Vernal Rotary Club Literacy Committee covered that cost which fits perfectly with their mission of increasing literacy in the community. The Central Cove Preschool team of teachers and support staff do an amazing job with these preschoolers and made Thursday’s event fun and special for all who attended.
